Scalar irradiance collectors are designed to be used in pairs. Scalar irradiance collectors are sampling optics designed to collect ultraviolet, visible, and infrared light over 360°, with a flat response.  The scalar response simplifies the measurement of complex light fields containing light coming from many directions.  The collectors connect to fiber optics with a SMA-905 connector and o-ring seal.  Designed for underwater use with HOBI Labs fiber optic cables, but can be used with any SMA-905 terminated cable.
