Submersible battery pack for oceanographic applications. The HydroPack holds 20 D cells that are quickly and easily replaced. With alkaline D cells, the HydroPack supplies 12 volts nominal (15 volts peak) for up to 36 amp-hours. Rated to 800 meters depth, the HydroPack also includes a safety pressure relief valve to prevent internal pressure buildup. For price and performance, the HydroPack outperforms any similar product on the market.

The HydroPack is designed for nearly any marine application requiring external DC power up to 15 volts. Its unique design allows for simple removal of the end cap to easily replace the D-cell batteries. Simply loosen a single bolt... which even opens the end cap for you! Either expendable or rechargeable D-cell batteries can be used.
