Underwater Fibers
for
HydroRads and Other Applications
Large core (200 micron), multimode fiber optic cables for field radiometers. Designed for use with HydroRad radiometers and HOBI Labs radiance and irradiance sensor heads, but can be used in other applications.
Internal fiber optics are UV/VIS 200 micron quartz, with a stainless steel shield, Kevlar braid and polyurethane jacket. Instrument end of cable is a piston seal. Light collector end of cables relies upon face seals built into collectors.
