Right-angle Radiance Collectors are functionally identical to our standard Radiance Collectors, with the addition of an internal mirror that orients the field of view perpendicular to the axis of the attached fiber optic cable.

Radiance collectors are sampling optics designed to collect ultraviolet, visible and infrared light in a small cone. The angular acceptance cone of the collector depends on the diameter of the fiber optic cable attached to the sensor and the index of refraction of the media being measured. HOBI Labs radiance collectors have a 3.2 degree field of view in air when used with 200 micron fibers.  With a 600 micron fiber, this increases to 9.4 degrees.  The Radiance collector connects to fiber optics with a SMA-905 connector and o-ring seal.  Designed for underwater use with HOBI Labs fiber optic cables, but can be used with any SMA-905 terminated cable.
